#2 Travis Head strikes gold in opening slot

Australia v England - Game 4
Head copped some blows but raced off to a fine half-century

Opening in the absence of Aaron Finch, Travis Head appeared the most comfortable of the Australian batsmen as David Warner, Cameron White and Steven Smith fell around him. At 70/3, England were in with a chance to take aim at Australia's unstable middle-order but Head had other ideas.

Using his wrists and powerful forearms, Head kept going for his shots and did not back down. England kept peppering away as well, knowing that their sole chance would be by taking wickets. The southpaw, though, was in no mood to let the visitors back into the game. He departed in the nineties but not before he had ensured that there would only be one winner.
