With the World Test Championship (WTC) final spot on the line, Team India will go up against Australia for the much-awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT). The opening Test starts at the Optus Stadium, Perth on November 22.

While India will miss their incumbent skipper Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah will come out with the India blazer at the toss. For Australia, Pat Cummins hopes for a better showing, especially after their two consecutive 1-2 BGT series defeats at home.

Before the much-awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy starts, here's a preview of the series.

Australia vs India BGT Test series - Full Schedule

The series will begin on November 22 at Perth Stadium, also known as the Optus Stadium. The second Test, which will be a pink ball day-night event in Adelaide from December 6–10, will come after a big break.

India will also play a two-day practice game at Manuka Oval from November 30. The famous Gabba and Melbourne Cricket Grounds will host the third and fourth Test matches, respectively, on December 14 and December 26. The last Test will be held in Sydney, starting on January 3.
