Glenn Maxwell looked the part throughout the series

It won't be far-fetched to say that Glenn Maxwell was probably the most established batsman from the Australian side. He came out to bat every time when the team was in a state of bother. Whether it was in the first match where he was able to stitch together a partnership with Marcus Stoinis to take Australia to a safe score.

Or whether it was him trying to take Australia out of trouble in the 2nd and 3rd match(although he wasn't quite able to do it completely, he did weather the storm). Throughout the series whenever Australia was in a spot of bother it was Maxwell who looked to be the most capable to guide them through.

Maxwell finally using his head while batting are good signs for an Australian team which really needs Maxwell to perform and take more responsibility.
