After staying at the top for a record 1155 days, Babar Azam finally lost his T20I No.1 spot to fellow opener Mohammad Rizwan following a dismal Asia Cup 2022 campaign that saw the Pakistani skipper manage just 68 runs across 6 innings. He has now dropped down to the 3rd spot.
Babar claimed the No.1 T20I ranking on 27th January 2018 and rating points peaked at 896 on 4th May 2019.
