The Victorians made their debut in 2015 and struck gold right from the word go. They topped the round-robin league and turned out victorious in a nail-biting contest versus the Barisal Bulls.
Their squad in 2016 looks solid. The defending champions have an astute leader in the form of Mashrafe Mortaza. Their bowling attack is something to be envied off. Imad Wasim, Rashid Khan, Jason Holder and Sohail Tanvir can take any opposition down with disdain.
Batting seems to be a little off place, but this is the same batting that took them to victory last season. If their bowling hit their straps from the early part of the tournament, it will not be a surprise if they go on to lift the cup for the second time in 2 years.
