#3 Australia appoint two vice-captains

The Australian cricket team will take on Pakistan in a Test series which begins on October 7. With Tim Paine set to resume his captaincy duties, the team management has announced two vice-captains for the first time. Both Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Marsh have been named the vice-captains of the side.

"We believe the new leadership model will best support the captain," said selector Trevor Hohns.

"It is a successful model used across various sporting codes around the world.

"Our vision is to create great cricketers and great people, and we are extremely fortunate to have such terrific young men," Hohns said.
