In a bizarre ending to a cricket match, the batting team, which needed six runs to win off the last ball, won the match with a ball to spare.

In an Adarsh Cricket Club (Padlegaon) 2019 match between Desai, based out of Maharashtra, and Juni Dombivli in Andhra, this interesting incident happened as the batting side, Desai, needed six runs off the last ball to win and ended up winning the game with a ball to spare.

The batsmen didn't hit a six off a no-ball like it has happened in the past but the bowler did something which no one would have imagined. He bowled six consecutive wides and gifted the game to Desai.

With 70/4 on the scoreboard in 4.5 overs and six needed to win, the Juni left-arm seamer, who was bowling the last over of the game, bowled his next six balls way outside the off stump and threw away the game which was in his team's hands.

Following the six wides, Juni players were frustrated with the bowler and some even pointed the bowler and reacted in a furious manner.

The video went viral on social media. Needless to say, it has evoked numerous responses from ardent cricket fans. While there was no evidence of the match being fixed, Twitteratti were quick to point out suspicious activity.

Some were even wondering how the bowler managed to bowl the first five balls of the over. This is the first time a match was won by a side in such a manner and this may well not be the last time something like this might be happening on a cricket field.
