Ben Stokes made his IPL debut in 2017 for the Rising Pune Super Giants franchise. The English all-rounder played a vital role in helping the team reach the finals of the tournament, taking 12 wickets and scoring 306 runs in 12 matches. He shifted to Rajasthan Royals in 2018 and stayed there for four years.
In 2021, while playing his first IPL match of the season, Stokes suffered a thumb injury which ruled him out for the rest of the tournament. Next, in 2022, Stokes opted out of the IPL to focus more on his international Test career. He returned to the IPL in 2023 with the new jersey but played only two games for CSK and again called off his name from the tournament in 2024.

Ben Stokes was bought by Rising Pune Supergiants in 2017 for a whopping ₹14.50 crores. Then, in 2018, Rajasthan Royals got hold of the English all-rounder for ₹12.50 Crores.
