#3 Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Bhuvneshwar Kumar is one of the best Indian seamers. He is known for picking early wickets and even in death overs, he squeezes the run flow with his accurate yorkers. In the final ODI of the ODI series between India and South Africa in 2015, South African scored a mammoth total of 438. Wankhade is known for huge totals being scored because of its small boundaries.
Quinton de Kock, Faf du Plessis and AB de Villers made a mockery of the Indian bowling attack. Though all three scored a hundred, it was AB who went whirlwind in the death overs. He scored 119 from just 61 balls, hitting 11 towering sixes. Mohit Sharma went for 84 in 7 overs. Giving 12 runs an over, he would have easily crossed the three-figure if he would have completed his quota. Bhuvneshwar figures were 10-0-106-1 and till date is the worst figure for any Indian bowler.
#2 Wahab Riaz
In the third ODI of the Pakistan tour of England in 2016, England batsmen made Pakistani bowling attack look very ordinary. Alex Hales was the most ruthless one scoring 171 from just 122. Butler's 90 from 51 and Morgan's 57 from 27 took England to another 400 plus score.
None of Pakistan's bowlers were able to stop the run flow. Amir and Hasan Ali went for 72 and 74 respectively in their 10 overs. Riaz took the most hits and ended with figures of 10-0-110-0. He became the first Pakistani bowler to give more than 100 runs in ODIs.
#1 Mick Lewis
The fifth ODI between Australia and South Africa in Johannesburg in 2006 is one of the best ODI matches ever played. Australia batting first, posted the first ever 400 score in the ODIs. Ricky Ponting played one of his finest innings scoring 164 from 105 which included 13 fours and 9 sixes. Mike Hussey gathered 81 from 51 and Symonds quickfire knock of 27 from 13 took Australia to 434/4 in 50 overs. Kallis went for 70 in 6 overs, Ntini went for 80 in 9, Hall conceded 80 in 10 overs and Telemachus went for 87 in his quota.
At the halfway stage everybody thought it would be a one-sided affair but what followed made history. Graeme Smith and Herschelle Gibbs counter attacked and built a brilliant partnership. Smith scored 90 from just 55 balls and Gibbs carried on to play the best knock of his career. He got out after scoring 175 of 111 balls which included 21 fours and 7 sixes. After Gibbs got out, South Africa lost some momentum but handy contributions from others took them to victory, with 1 ball and 1 wicket remaining. It was one of the best chases in ODI cricket.
Australian bowlers were at the receiving end of the Gibbs and Smith partnership. Brett Lee went for 68 in 7.5 overs, Stuart Clark gave 54 in 6 and Symonds went for 75 in 9 overs. But the most affected was Lewis who had figures of 10-0-113-0 which are till date the worst figures in ODI history. He also was the first bowler to give 100 runs in 50 overs game.
Martin Snedden was the first bowler to give more than 100 runs in ODI. He conceded 105 in 12 overs as it was a 60 over format then.
