Breaking News : Yuvraj Singh's tumor update

India’s star batsman Yuvraj Singh is set to miss out on the fifth edition of the IPL due to his ongoing treatment of his non malignant lung tumor. According to PTI, Yuvraj is now in the United States of America to consult an oncologist for the treatment and removal of his lung tumor.

“Yuvraj went to UK and from there has travelled to the United States for an advanced treatment. The oncologists who will be treating him in the US will take a call on whether he would undergo surgery or any other form of treatment. But that’s for sure, he won’t be playing in the IPL,” a source told PTI on Wednesday.

The news of Yuvraj missing out the on the IPL would definitely dent the chances of his franchise Pune Warriors. He is not only their premier batsman, also their captain too. Yuvraj’s absence might see Greame Smith take over the reigns of the Pune franchise.
