If there is one Pakistani bowler who can win the game single-handedly with his bowling, it has to be Hasan Ali. And if there is one Indian batsman who can do the same with the bat, it is Virat Kohli. Hasan has two consecutive three-wicket hauls in the tournament, and was also the player of the match in their last game against England.

Since he bowls as a first change bowler, it is very likely that he will be up against the Indian captain. He is a wicket taking bowler (removed Eoin Morgan and Ben Stokes against England) who can be used as a ploy against Kohli. The Indian skipper has remained not out three times in the tournament so far, and also averages an incredible 253!

Kohli is due for a century this tournament, and there can be no better day to bring it up than on the showpiece final. The Pakistanis will be wary of the top ranked ODI batsman and would be highly dependent on Ali to devise ways to contain and dismiss him.
