On 3 December 1986, former West Indies fast bowler Courtney Walsh bowled a devastating spell to pick up 5 wickets for just 1 run against Sri Lanka in a Champions Trophy match at Sharjah. It was a 45-over match where West Indies, batting first, had scored 248 for the loss of 5 wickets.

Batting second, Sri Lanka were all out for just 55 runs, courtesy of this spell from hell from Walsh. Walsh ended the day with figures of 4.3-0-5-1, which still remains his personal best.
