CPL 2024: Providence Stadium, Guyana pitch history and T20 records

The biggest party in cricket is underway in the Caribbean. The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 is being played from August 29 to October 6. This is the 12th edition of the competition and a total of six teams are vying for the title.

CPL 2024 is being played across six countries in the Caribbean. A total of 34 matches will be played across seven venues. The league stage comprises 30 matches followed by four in the knockout stage. The final is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 6.

The Guyana Amazon Warriors lifted their maiden title last year. They beat the most successful franchise in the competition, Trinbago Knight Riders, in the final last year. The Warriors will be hoping to defend their title this year.

The Providence Stadium in Guyana is the home ground of the Guyana Amazon Warriors. The Guyana leg of the Caribbean Premier League 2024 will begin on September 20.

A total of 11 games, including four knockouts, will be played at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. The first game at this venue will be played on September 20 between the Guyana Amazon Warriors and the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.
