The Netherlands cricket team did the unthinkable in the 12th match of the World T20 in 2014 when they chased the target of 189 in just 13.5 overs against Ireland.
The Dutch brigade needed a spark to stay afloat in the tournament and they did just that as they shattered the record books to hit the most sixes(19) in any T20I innings.
The opening batsman Stephan Myburgh’s blitzkrieg and the crucial contributions of others made this possible as the orange army stormed their way to the daunting total.
Hitting sixes at will, the Netherlands batsmen struck 19 sixes to create the record which still stands.
