Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar helps ex-Ranji player Dalbir

Sachin Tendulkars generosity sufaced when he helped his ailing childhood friend Dalbir Singh. Dalbir Singh – an ex Ranji trophy player has been at the renowned Shalby Hospitals in Ahmedabad since May 18 on the recommendations of the Cricket genius Sachin Tendulkar. Dr. Anant Joshi, the senior doctor who is treating Mr. Dalbir Singh is a personal doctor of the Master Blaster Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar.

Dalbir used to play with Sachin Tandulkar at under 15 level and all his operation expenses are being taken care of by Sachin Tendulkar. Not only that Sachin Tendulkar paid a personal visit and enquired about the health of Mr. Dalbir Singh.

In 2002. Dalbir Singh met with a serious accident which severly damaged his brain . This accident resulted in loss of supply of blood to his hips. Additionally, Mr Dalbir Singh was being poorly treated by his wife who had reportedly locked him in a room and mistreated him severely for the past several years. Dalbir underwent hip replacement surgery at Shalby Hospital now. The surgery lasted for around 2 hours and Dalbir is recovering well. Cricketers such as Graeme Smith and Anil Kumble have been treated at this famous hospital and it is only due to the help of Sachin that Mr. Dalbir Singh can look forward to a healthy life again.
