#4 John Hastings retires from all forms of the game

Former Australian pace bowler John Hastings has been forced to call upon his career much due to his mystery lung problem.
Hastings, who last featured in an International game for Australia against New Zealand in 2017, had stopped playing last month after him coughing up blood recurrently while bowling in the domestic circuit.
The 33-year old had to take the move after doctors couldn't assure him that he won't bleed to death on the cricket pitch.
Hastings in his chat with the local media went to reveal that he encountered a similar issue several years ago and has been suffering from the problem ever since.
"I’m training now. Lifting weights or boxing it doesn’t happen. It’s really only the pressure of the actual landing of bowling," he said.
"There was just a lot of grey area surrounding long-term health, whether it was causing any damage, and if there was any potential to have a fatal bleed on the field, "he mentioned.
