Captain Manoj Tiwary defended his team, slamming Manjrekar for his tweets

Out-of-favour Team India batsman Manoj Tiwary, in a series of tweets, lambasted cricket expert Sanjay Manjrekar for tweeting about the controversial Bengal-Jharkhand Vijay Hazare game.

The game could not be completed, and had to be decided via the VJD method, but Manjrekar questioned the bowling team, criticizing Bengal for taking more than four hours to complete their 50 overs.

Tiwary, captain of the Bengal team, shot back at Manjrekar, stating that the game was played with 'utmost honesty', and that there were a number of reasons why the game was delayed.
