#2 Update on Aaron Finch's injury

Australia v India - 2nd Test: Day 3

Aaron Finch suffered an injury while batting today in the second innings against India. While batting on 25, he was hit on his right index finger by a bouncer from Mohammed Shami. He was hit on the same finger by Mitchell Starc during a net session as well.

While he was cleared off any serious harm to his finger, his participation in the remainder of the Test is in doubt.

"Good news is that I'm pretty sure he's being cleared of any serious damage. We're still not sure if he's going to bat. If he bats he does, if he doesn't we just have to make do with whatever we can get to. But great news for Aaron is that he's being cleared of any serious damage," said Nathan Lyon to the media.
