Virat Kohli, who scored a century against Australia in Perth, albeit in a losing cause, remained atop the rankings, with 934 points to his name.
He is 19 points ahead of Kane Williamson, who himself reached a career-high of 915 points.
On the other hand, Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah moved up the rankings as well. The former moved up to 48th place in the rankings for batsmen while the latter reached a career-high ranking of 28.
