India's Harmanpreet Kaur is creating waves in world cricket with her bulldozing approach to bat. At the women's ongoing World T20, her century against the Kiwis was a talking point for the entire cricketing fraternity.

Having gained followers with her swashbuckling batting style, the Indian batter won hearts with her gesture ahead of the India-Pakistan clash in Guyana.

One of the mascots at the ground reportedly fell ill during the Indian national anthem. In a video on social media, Harmanpreet, standing right behind, was seen holding the child to support her as the anthem was played, before carrying the young girl herself and handing it to one of the volunteers to help out of the stadium.
