Sunil Joshi has been chosen as the Chairman of the senior selection committee

Former India spinner Sunil Joshi was selected as the chairman of the senior selection panel for the men's cricket team by the BCCI’s Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC). Joshi replaced MSK Prasad, while Harvinder Singh was also added to the panel that had two vacant spots remaining.

Five former players, Laxman Sivaramakrishnan, Venkatesh Prasad, Sunil Joshi, Harvinder Singh, and Rajesh Chauhan were short-listed from a total of 40 applicants for the two vacant spots in the senior selection panel for the men's cricket team.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah stated:

“The committee recommended Mr Sunil Joshi for the role of Chairman of the senior men’s selection committee. The CAC will review the candidates after a one-year period and make the recommendations to the BCCI."
