#3 Looking back at Kumble's 10-wicket haul
Legendary spinner Anil Kumble will fondly remember this day 21 years back when he became only the second bowler to take 10 wickets in a Test innings against Pakistan. Kumble's 0/74 in 26.3 was only the second instance that a bowler took all of the opposition's wicket, following England's Jim Laker who took all 10 wickets against Australia.
A 132-Test veteran, Kumble broke Pakistan's spine after breaking their opening partnership of 101 between Shahid Afridi and Saeed Anwar. Pakistan, who were chasing a target of 420 runs, lost by 212 runs at Delhi's Feroz Shah Kotla.
Kumble had told BCCI in 2014:
"A 'Perfect Ten' isn't something you set out to achieve as a cricketer. I would attribute the events of 7th February 1999 to destiny,"
