#4 England women beat India women by four wickets

India women lost again, this time against Heather Knight's talented English women's squad by four wickets in the tri-nation tournament also involving Australia. Batting first, India made a decent 123 runs for the loss of six wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Opener Smriti Mandhana stole the limelight with her 45 runs, however, no other batter stayed at the crease to bring stability in the batting order.

In reply, English women chased the target with seven balls and four wickets to go. Natalie Sciver stop-scored with a half-century in only 30 balls, while Rajeshwari Gayakwad took an impressive three-for 23 in her four overs.
