#3 Trent Boult has his eyes on Virat Kohli's wicket
Left-arm Kiwi pacer Trent Boult is all set to resume his rivalry with Indian captain Virat Kohli as he looks to make a comeback in the first Test against India from 21 February at the Basin Reserve in Wellington.
Boult, who has had the better of the prolific right-hander several times, stated that claiming Kohli's wicket is always great as he is an exceptional player who knows his game very well. He added that he was itching to get onto to the field against the top-ranked Test team in the world after nursing a series of injuries since the CWC 2019.
“That’s personally why I play the game, to get guys like that (Kohli) out and test myself against them, so I can’t wait to get stuck in. But he’s an exceptional player. Everyone knows how great he is."
“I’m preparing for a solid wicket. It generally is very good here and goes the full distance (five days). I do enjoy playing here, the history that’s involved, and it’s going to be an exciting week building up. I can’t wait to get out there."
