India further stamped their authority on Sri Lanka on day 2 with a commanding performance. After posting a total of 375, they came back to remove both the Sri Lankan openers for a duck to leave them trailing by 187 runs with 3 days of play remaining. Virat’s dismissal triggered a collapse as Ajinkya Rahane and Ravichandran Ashwin got out soon. Dhawan went into a shell because of the two quick wickets and soon after got bowled himself.
