Former player and current coach at Kolkata Knight Riders, Jacques Kallis is undoubtedly one of the greatest all-rounders to have played the sport, at least in the generation gone by. Having started off his IPL career with RCB, Kallis was acquired by KKR post the third season.
He has since been associated with the franchise and played a major role in helping them clinching the titles in 2012 and 2014.
With bat in hand, he was given the role of partnering former skipper Gautam Gambhir at the top and lay a strong foundation for the middle order to follow.
His bowling remained an asset for him throughout his career and more often than not he gave his captain four economical overs in the middle stage of the innings.
Not to forget his safe pair of hands and with a strong throwing arm from the deep, Kallis was a complete package.
