His performance at the U-19 World Cup of 2008 won him an IPL contract with Rajasthan Royals for the inaugural season of IPL and Ravindra Jadeja has never looked back.
One of the major hits of 2008 who helped the Royals clinch the title, Jadeja's all-round talent helped him rise in the eyes of the legendary Shane Warne who called him 'rockstar'.
A left-arm orthodox bowler who depends on natural variations for wickets and a handy lower order batsman, Jadeja has had decent success over the years in IPL. He has used it, apart from his three first-class triple centuries, as the launchpad into the national squad.
In 2018, he joins forces with captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni at CSK once again and with Dhoni's love for controlling a game with his spinners, Jadeja will always be an integral part of the setup.
