Ashleigh Barty
One of the best doubles players on the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) circuit, Ashleigh Barty took a break from tennis in 2014 and switched to cricket for a short period of time.
During this time, she was selected to play for the Brisbane Heat in the Women’s Big Bash League for the 2015-16 season and achieved reasonable success batting at no. 6 for the side. She also represented the Queensland Fire in the domestic league.

One of the most prominent doubles players in tennis, she has reached the final of all the four Grand Slams but unfortunately has not been able to win a single title yet. She will be taking part in the final of the French Open doubles on June 11 with her partner Casey Dellacqua in an attempt to win her first Grand Slam
