The right-handed batsman is often regarded as the best batsman in this decade. The 27-year old made his test debut against West Indies in 2011. Since then, Kohli has been capped 45 times in test cricket matches, scoring 3,245 runs.
The Indian test captain has a test average of 45.06 with a strike rate of 53.59. An aggressive batsman, Kohli is hailed as one of the best modern day test players in the world. Kohli has been awarded two Man of the Match awards against New Zealand in 2012 and the other being against South Africa in 2013.
Under Kohli’s captaincy of India so far, he has won seven and lost two out of 14 international test matches.
