All-rounders: Ben Stokes (England), Hardik Pandya (India), and Rashid Khan (Afghanistan)
England's change of fortunes in ODI cricket has a lot to do with the attacking brand of cricket that they have adopted. One of the players who has been instrumental in bringing in this change is Ben Stokes. Stokes has been phenomenal for England both with the bat and ball. He has the X-factor that has helped win a lot of matches in the last couple of years. His ability to make an impact in all the three departments will be vital for England.
Since Hardik Pandya's inclusion in the ODI side, Team India has looked a completely different outfit. Pandya has provided balance to the team as he has filled the vacant all-rounder spot efficiently. With MS Dhoni taking the responsibility of taking the innings deep, Pandya has donned the role of the finisher in the team. The 25-year-old's ever improving bowling provides extra options to Virat Kohli.
One of biggest reasons for Afghanistan's meteoric rise in World cricket is the team's star spinner Rashid Khan. Rashid has a staggering ODI record to his name. The young Afghan has picked up 125 wickets in just 58 ODIs at an outstanding average of 15.34 and an economy of 3.9 runs per over. Rashid has made some meaningful contributions with the bat in the lower order and will be Afghanistan's goto man in the World Cup.
