West Indies have managed to include Chris Gayle and Andre Russell in their squad. This comes as a huge advantage for the Windies. They also have Evin Lewis, Shimron Hetmyer and Darren Bravo in the batting department. Shai Hope will be the first choice wicket-keeper and Nicholas Pooran will be back-up.

Jason Holder and Carlos Brathwaite will be the pace-bowling all-rounders and these 2 can strike a long ball. Their spin bowling resources are weak as the likes of Ashley Nurse and Fabian Allen haven't really shown any sort of wicket-taking threat. Kemar Roach, Oshane Thomas, Shannon Gabriel and Sheldon Cottrell are there as the fast bowlers.

While their squad looks pretty dangerous, players like Russell and Lewis haven't been successful in the 50-over format and if they fail to perform, their chances will take a massive hit.
