South Africa will once again enter an ICC tournament with high expectations. They have a formidable squad and although AB de Villiers will be missed, they have newcomer, Rassie van der Dussen to compensate for the loss. He has been terrific in his short international career as he has scored his runs at an average of 88.25 in his 9 ODI's.
The likes of Quinton de Kock, Faf du Plessis, Aiden Markram and David Miller have been in good form, and that bodes well for the batting department. Their bowling attack is one that opposition teams don't want to face. They have express pace bowlers in the form of Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje and Lungi Ngidi. They will also have the services of South African legend, Dale Steyn. Imran Tahir and Tabraiz Shamsi will lead the spin department.
They also have pace bowling all-rounders such as Dwaine Pretorius and Andile Phehlukwayo, who give the team a balanced look.
