New Zealand is currently one of the most balanced sides in world cricket. Under the able leadership of Kane Williamson, the Kiwis have done well playing at home as well as away from home. New Zealand's current ODI ranking of 3 is a testament of the team's prowess as an ODI side.

Martin Guptill, Williamson and Ross Taylor will be at the centre of New Zealand's batting plans while Henry Nicholls, Colin Munro and Tom Latham will look to make the most of the opportunities in their debut World Cup.
