Nitish Kumar (Canada), being just 16 years and 283 days old, became the youngest player to participate in a World Cup, in 2011. He has represented the Canadian team in 16 ODIs and 6 T20Is.
Nolan Clarke (Netherlands), being 47 years and 257 days old, holds the record of oldest player to take part in a World Cup. He was responsible for Netherlands cricket team's qualification to World Cup 1996.
Nolan also became the oldest debutant in ODIs when he played his maiden match versus New Zealand in 1996.
