Dale Steyn and AB de Villiers share a light moment

South African fast bowler Dale Steyn, on his official twitter handle, on a lighter note called his friend and teammate AB de Villiers as a “clown”.

It should not be forgotten that these two have expressed their mutual respect for each other in public many a times and carry themselves on the field with good cricketing spirit. It can be recalled when Steyn congratulated AB de Villiers when the wicket-keeper batsmen clobbered the bowler for 23 runs in an over during the match involving the Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Chinnaswamy stadium, Bangalore in the last season of IPL.

The two are part of the South African side that is in Sri Lanka to play 3 ODI and 2 Test matches on the tour. The visitors are also scheduled to play a lonely 50-over warm-up game on July 3, Thursday against Sri Lanka Board President's XI.
