Adelaide, Dec 9 - Australian opener David Warner, on Tuesday, joined an elite list of batsmen of the famed 'Invincibles' team during his knock of 145 runs on the opening day of the first Test against India at the Adelaide Oval.

The left-hander hit his 10th Test century en route to an aggressive knock, thereby leading his team to a comfortable 354/6 at stumps on day one.

The only other Australians who have notched up 10 or more centuries after 33 Tests were members of Sir Donald Bradman's 1948 'Invincibles' team: Bradman himself (18 hundreds), Neil Harvey (12) and Arthur Morris (10).

In 2014, he has made 959 runs from seven matches at an average of 73.76. No batsman in the world this year has scored more than the five 100s that Warner has managed.
