England's tour of Windies will start on 23rd January with the first of the three Tests which will be followed by a five-match ODI series and a three-match T20I series. The two-month-long tour will also have two two-day warm-up matches before the Test Series and a 50-over warm-up match ahead of the ODI series. Both the two-day warm-up matches ended in a draw with Stuart Broad taking a hat-trick in the second Warm-up match.
This is England's first assignment of the year 2019. Further, the no.1 ODI team will play Ireland and Pakistan before the World Cup. The squad for both ODIs and Test Series has been announced by the ECB.
Olly Stone has been replaced by Mark Wood after he was ruled out of the tour due to a stress fracture. Windies have also announced the squad for the first Test of the series which will be played in Barbados and have recalled experienced Darren Bravo to the Test Squad.
