For a second, watching India bat on that surface felt like they were college kids up against professionals. In conditions assisting fast bowlers, the batsman failed to come up with the goods and hence the scorecard reads a mere 107 all out at the end of the second day.

With three days left, weather permitting, it remains to be seen what the bowlers can conjure. What Kohli and co. will hope is for the conditions to remain same so that the likes of Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Shami can trouble the English batsman.
