By this point in time, we all know neither Umesh Yadav nor Mohammed Shami are the most consistent bowlers in the world. Both can be amazing when in form and complete liabilities when they are not.

But while Shami has played in all the three matches, Umesh has been sitting out since being dropped for the second Test. He did not do badly in the first Test either, picking up three wickets.

Shami did not have a good last match, and it feels like it might be time for the team management to change things up a bit. This year, Umesh has shown the ability to pick up important wickets. While he proves to be expensive at times, he can be the type of aggressive bowler that India needs to win this Test.
