#2 Hanuma Vihari
This 24-year-old from Andhra Pradesh has kept himself in the reckoning for a national call-up with some good performances in domestic cricket. He averages 59.79 in 63 First-class matches so far and has been a handy off-spinner too.
Having been left unsold at the 2018 IPL auctions, he has redeemed himself with several noteworthy performances in the 'A' tour along with Prithvi Shaw and Mayank Agarwal. He also led India A in their tour to England.
Having had the experience of playing in England, there is a chance that he might be added to the squad for the remaining two Test matches.
#1 Mayank Agarwal
When Mayank Agarwal initially entered the scene, he was pigeonholed as a limited-overs specialist and was picked in IPL in the year 2011. But, it all changed in the 2017/18 Ranji season, where at one point of time he scored 1033 runs in just 27 days which included a 300 plus score and several 150+ scores.
In the recent 'A' tour to England, he performed well both in the First-class as well as the limited-overs leg. He remained a heavy run scorer for his team irrespective of the conditions in the domestic circuit. These performances might help him clinch a maiden call-up to the Indian Test team for the remaining Test matches.
