Prithvi Shaw is a talented youngster who has the ability to become a world-class player in the future in the longer format of the game due to his technique and stroke play. He is expected to play the 5th test in place of the struggling KL Rahul who has managed to score just 113 runs in 8 innings at an average of 7.50.

Shaw has been quite successful and consistent with the bat in domestic cricket. For his Ranji team Mumbai, he has scored 1398 runs in just 13 matches at a healthy average of 60.78. His performances have rightfully earned him a place in the Indian squad and hence deserves to play the final test match.

Virat Kohli should seriously consider picking him in the starting XI tomorrow.
