#3 Mohammed Shami

England v India: Specsavers 3rd Test - Day Four
Mohammed Shami was India's second best bowler in the series

Another best player of the series as far as India are concerned is Mohammed Shami. He may not have picked up a 5 wicket haul in an innings but he was consistently among wickets throughout the series.

Shami used to come to bowl as a third bowler and did a pretty good job to maintain the pressure created by the opening bowlers. Kohli used him well with the older ball and Shami didn't disappoint either.

Shami picked up 16 wickets in the series and was India's second highest wicket-taker, while was at no. 4 in the leading wicket-takers list for the series. Although many consider him as the unlucky bowler of the series as he bowled consistently but couldn't pick up many wickets for his efforts.
