#3. India has a good mix of experience and youth
India has selected a squad which is quite young but also has experienced players to guide the youngsters. The likes of MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan, who have been in England before and have an idea of the conditions, have been great mentors for first time tourists like Kuldeep Yadav and KL Rahul, which has reflected in their performances.
Kuldeep picked up a 5-wicket haul in the first match while Rahul has already scored a hundred. Before the start of the tour, Kohli had mentioned that India would be experimenting with their combinations and that's exactly what they have done.
India has hit the right spot as far as picking the team is concerned and that has paid off nicely so far. In contrast, England have not found the solution to the Joe Root problem. Root has been consistently underperforming in the limited overs format. England even had to drop him in the third T20I to make room for Ben Stokes.
Hence, England has a few selection problems to take care of - unlike India.
