Hardik Pandya conceded 22 runs in his first over, but then came back very strongly in the latter end of his spells.

He not only picked up four wickets but also conceded only 16 runs in the final three overs to be a big part in India's effort to keep England to a manageable score which proved to be easy to chase down.

He was then promoted to the number five position and got the job done with the willow. Two sixes, four fours, 14 balls and 33 runs, that final six to seal the deal.
