Joe Root has been one of the best batsmen in the world since his debut against India in 2012. But since been appointed as the captain, he seemed to have lost his touch. He didn't look his fluent and struggled against the Indian Pacers this series.

But he is a talented player to be kept quiet for so long and has a good record, so he will look to score runs in the 4th test against India.

Indian Bowling Spearhead

Ishant has been around for so long now but he is still 29 years old and has a long way to go in his career. He has become a better bowler in the past two years in which he has led the Indian pace attack well after the retirement of Zaheer Khan.

In this series too he maintained good line & length, keeping the batsman quiet, and regularly troubling them. He sets the ball rolling by taking wickets up front and the other bowlers follow his suit.
