England and Pakistan are all set to lock horns in a four-match T20I series, starting May 22. The series will be a good platform for both teams to fine-tune their teams ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024 to be staged in the West Indies and the USA.
Pakistan recently beat Ireland 2-1 and will look to carry the momentum against the Brits. The focus will be on Babar Azam, who recently went past Uganda’s Brian Masaba to become the most successful captain in T20Is.
Haris Rauf has not played any form of cricket since getting injured in the PSL 2024 while playing for the Lahore Qalandars. Rauf, Mohammad Amir, Naseem Shah, and Shaheen Shah Afridi can be dangerous prospects to deal with for the opposition in the World Cup.
England, on the other hand, included Jofra Archer and Harry Brook back in the mix. Brook pulled out of the Test series against India and did not play for the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the IPL. Archer, on the other hand, has had his fair share of injuries in the last three years or so. The speedster will be looking to prove a point and restamp his authority in international cricket.
