European Cricket Championship 2024, Group 1: Full schedule, squads, match timings, and live-streaming details

The European Cricket Championship (ECC), Group 1 2024 is scheduled for Monday, September 23, 2024 to Thursday, September 26. Cartama Oval in Cartama, Spain, will be the host venue for all matches.

European Cricket Championship 2024 is scheduled to begin on September 23, featuring a fresh structure that divides the competition into two segments: the Premier Division and the Challenger Division.

The Challenger Division (Groups 1 & 2) will kick off first, with the group stages running from September 23 to 26 and September 27 to 29, respectively, followed by the playoffs from September 30 to October 2. A total of 11 teams will participate in the ECC Challenger Division.

Afterwards, the ECC Premier Division will hold its group stage from October 3 to 14, with 20 teams divided into four groups (Groups A, B, C, and D). The Premier Division Finals week will be held from October 15 to 19, featuring the four group winners and the reigning ECC23 champions, England XI.

England XI are currently the defending champions of the 2023 edition. They also won their maiden title in 2021. Meanwhile, in 2022, Netherlands XI won their first cup.

Challenger Division Group 1 will feature six teams: Estonia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Croatia, Slovenia, and the Isle of Man. The top four teams from the group will move on to the knockout stage, which includes an eliminator, two qualifiers, and the final.

The winner of Qualifier 1 will secure a direct spot in the final, while the loser of Qualifier 1 will face the winner of the Eliminator for a place in the Group 1 final. The knockout matches will take place on September 26, 2024.
