The rejuvenation of Ishant Sharma after the county stint has been impressive and looked a different bowler altogether. He has been bowling more accurate than ever and had picked a heap of wickets in the England Tests.

In this series, the lanky fast bowler had picked up 18 wickets at an average of 24.27. He is the most crucial bowler for the Australian tour as he will be the most experienced player in these conditions.

The Delhi pacer has been part of the Indian squad in 2007-08, 2011-12 and 2014-15 Australian tours and has picked up 20 wickets in 10 Tests including the famous spell in Perth Test.

Ishant has looked in great form and has proved that he could lead the Indian bowling attack. If India needs to triumph in this series, it will be important that Ishant performs well.
