#5 Neil Harvey

14 innings in Tests, 1950
One of the most gifted players to have played for Australia, Neil Harvey had amassed six centuries in his first 13 Test innings itself; and in just his fourteenth innings, he reached 1,000 runs for his country while not even 23. In a career of more than 6,000 runs and 21 centuries, Harvey averaged 48 with the bat with a best score of 205.
Against England at Brisbane in 1950 – his tenth Test match – he scored 74 and 12 to add a feather to his cap. His career ended with nearly 21,700 first-class runs with distinctions such as getting inducted into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame and selected in the Australian Board's official Test Team of the twentieth century.
