#4 Shubman Gill

13 innings in Under-19 ODIs, 2018
18-year-old Shubman Gill achieved the feat of 1,000 runs in youth ODIs in the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2018 while playing Bangladesh in the Quarter-Final at Queenstown. He continued his fantastic run in the tournament in which he crossed fifty each time he batted: 63 against Australia and 90* against Zimbabwe before getting 86 in the Bangladesh match.
In two first-class matches for Punjab, both of which came in the 2017-18 Ranji season, Gill hit a century and a half-century, though the latter came in an innings defeat against Bengal. He spoke of the influence his U-19 coach and former India captain Rahul Dravid had on his game, after being advised not to attempt aerial shots and play along the ground.
